The Plitvice Lakes National Park is an unique place where water, flowing through the whole area, creates fantastic landscape of waterfalls and lakes. Wooden bridges allows tourists to walk among abundant vegetations and experience the beauty of wild and unspoilt nature. 16 lakes are connected with each other through numerous waterfalls and barriers of different sizes and appearance. However, before you get to the National Park, our guide will take you to a charming village of Rostoke, which is located approx. 100 km from Zagreb. It is picturesquely situated on the Slunjcica River estuary, surrounded by rocks through which two rivers flow creating lakes, rapids, small waterfalls. This place is known as 'Small Plitvice'. Old architecture of water mills, wooden houses and wonderful nature create this place magical.
