Zadar is the 5th largest city in Croatia which first settlements are dating back to Prehistoric times. Today it is well known for its important monuments and ruins of its beautiful Old Town area. During our walking tour we would like to show you all highlights of Zadar and acquaint you with its long and rich history. You will see National Square of Zadar – the centre of vibrant public life. You will walk along the Kalelarga Street (main street of the city) and reach one of the most important monuments in Zadar – the 9th century church of St. Donat, which is the symbol of the city. Then we will walk towards church of St. Elias which is famous for a special collection of icons from 16th - 18th centuries. Also you will not miss the Cathedral of St. Anastasia and the Church of Our Lady of the Health during our walk.
